In this position you’ll be solely responsible for start to finish processing of monthly Payroll using Sage. This will include Pensions Auto Enrolment, submission of RTI to HMRC, and calculating statutory allowances.
Aside from this, you’ll also be responsible for dealing with employee queries, liaising with third parties including HMRC and Pension providers. There may also be some ad-hoc Finance duties to assist with, and full training will be provided for this.
The successful candidate will have 3 or more years’ UK Payroll experience, and have managed an in-house Payroll from start to finish in a sole capacity. Working knowledge of Sage Payroll software including the Auto Enrolment module is highly desirable, as is intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.
You must have a high level of attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet tight deadlines, as well as a flexible approach to working. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential, along with a patient and understanding approach when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
