About the Role
The School of Business and Management (SBM) is looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Fellow in Audit and/or Taxation. The Department of Accounting and Financial Management has launched a new, prestigious undergraduate programme, BSc Accountancy – Flying Start, in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Starting in September 2022, the Flying Start programme is a four-year degree that combines a BSc in Accountancy with hands-on, invaluable experience at PwC, London. The advertised post offers an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution to our suite of programmes in a progressive institution.
About You
The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified accountant or tax specialist with recent experience of working in a professional environment and, preferably, some experience of preparing students for professional accountancy examinations. Applicants will make a contribution to the intellectual life of the Department and primarily be responsible for the delivery of high-quality teaching on audit and/or tax modules, assessment and the development of innovations in key aspects of teaching and learning.
